✔ 最佳答案
修辭講話時是可以的
但給人造作的感覺
因為你一定是在被提問時作出交代時才樣回答...

Do you deny you've taken the books?

Are you denying you've taken the books?

你直接確定回答否認會說
I did take the books.
而政客為了使回答得無凌兩可才會說
I am not denying taking the books.
意思即是說「你說我想否認,但我不會告訴你有有否拿了那些書,我只是現在唔會否認你的假設答案(我是拿了那些書)。」

I am admitting taking the books.
情況類同。重點是我現在講出來便是承認。
這講法較為少用,因為I admit XXX就是用present tense
除非質問的問題是
Are you willing to admit taking the books now?
才會把動詞變為現在進行式以表達「我不用你等/懷疑...現在就是在承認」

The present perfect tense should be used.:-
I have taken, I have admitted;
eg:-Have you ever been punished? No never.
eg:-I have known the librarian; I have admitted the charge.
It shows that you were not punished in the past, so you do not have the experience of being punished now.The present perfect tense denotes present results of the past actions.Note that the words :-ever, never, for, since should be used,in case.
eg:-I am not denying taking the books=I have taken the books( in the library.)
eg:-I am admitting taking the books=I have admitted the charge.
They are not repeated frequently.
The probability and intention should use the continuous.
Present continuous tense is used to show actions in future time. with definite arrangements only.
The action of denying, admitting in the examples is in progress only when another action (------?) takes place.
