Authorization Letter to Pick a Student after School

I am writing to authorize Mr/Miss XYZ (HKID: X123456(7)) to pick my child (Name, Class) after school on November 22, 2013 (Friday).

Since I will be unable to pick my child tomorrow, I thereby authorize Mr/Miss XYZ as a temporary guardian for my child after school.

Please kindly allow Mr/Miss XYZ to represent me for picking my child after school tomorrow.

除了上信之外，也要注意學校是否需要你提供其他文件證明身份的真偽，例如你本人的身份證副本、你和孩子的關係等等。當然以上都要視乎學校的要求。

Lin, 你的寫法也可以，但最好註明日期。

由於我回答是不知道孩子是男或女，所以以上我用了 child，你可以用daughter，那更好。

另外，你最後寫得好好，我也欠了加上一句「Thank you for your attention」。

以實用文的角度應該可以了，內容清楚交代事情、日期、各人的身份、證明。

「在於學術的角度，如果你用 Dear Sir/Madam，那結尾應該用Yours faithfully，但既然不是交功課，而是在於實用的角度出發，我相信學校不會拘謹這個問題。」
