Let matrix A=(a(i,j)), i,j=1~n, a(i,j)=cos[(i+j)t], where t= 2π/n.Find det(A+I).

From A^2, we can get the eigenvalue of A, need not to find the eigenvalue of A^2.

I tried n = 1, 2, 3, 4, those become 2, 3, -5/4, -4?

I can just notice that sum of all row (or column) gives the same number because of the periodicity of cosine.

No way out from me.
