i ordered an elucidator stainless steel replica from that site at Oct 30 2013. But after trying to go back on the site today. It didn't work, at first i thought it might have been just me but after 20 refreshes i knew something was wrong. After discovering that their Facebook page was also gone. i decided to Google and type in the sites name trying to find some answer why the website and Facebook page was gone. After doing so i found another site with reviews on it "http://www.sitejabber.com/reviews/www.allanimecosplay.com". Saying how they ordered costumes for Halloween that never came. The main thing that i'm trying to figure out is , does this only apply to the costumes or sword replicas as well?

It seemed to be legit before bit recently, negative comments have being posted. Some in regards to scamSorry mate :(

The maintenance of the site doesn't necessarily mean that it is a scam (Yahoo! Answers still crashes and glitches). Still, I hope you didn't use your credit card or PayPal to buy that replica. I also wouldn't expect it to be delivered to your house anytime soon. You're better off finding one from a reputable store.
On the off-chance that you do get the elucidator you ordered from the site (after finding another), then you can always pawn one of them off.

You are not alone. I am one of the victims too.
I ordered from them before and the costume did come afterward, so i got caught off guard this time.
First, they would email you a tracking number, but the delivery address of that package would not be your address. You would just watch the package got delivered to somewhere that you don't even know where is it. I am living in SF Bay Area, and they delivered the package to Santa Maria, CA.
Then i emailed them, they said they don't know what's going on and they would mail me another one once it has been made again. And they will mail it via UPS as express mail as well, it would take only 2 days. Since then, they stopped answering my email and never respond.
If you paid by paypal, just dispute the transaction to try to get your money back asap.
