✔ 最佳答案
see 你好。

你的情況所用的 past tense 是正確的,因為即使是兩分鐘前,也是過去了的。

At 5:06, you approved Mary's application.

At 5:08, you said, "Mary, I approved your application at 5:06."

or

At 5:08, you said, "Mary, I approved your application two minutes ago."

另一方面,你可以說:"Mary, I have already approved your application."

但這個present perfect tense 的重點是在於你「已經」approved 了,而不是著重於你在 5:06 這個過去的時間 approved.

"past tense只能講昨天或以前已經做了/發生了的事"???? - By all means, I can't agree to this because "past" means in the past, not only yesterday or before.
001休養小貓 's answer is absolutely correct and provides the alternative of using present perfect tense as well. It is the best answer.

錯!

past tense只能講昨天或以前已經做了/發生了的事

你的事件(包括你的approve和通知對方"已經approve"的通知)都是在今天內發生和實現的,所以當你通知她時應該寫:

I have approved your application at six minutes past five today.

這樣文法上和意識上

你的行動是
today - present tense + perfect (just completed) = have + approved

而收到通知的人亦感覺到你
在5:08pm(甚至是7:30pm或11:59pm)收到你通知時會感覺你剛剛(5:06)(present perfect)批准/准許了我的申請。

通常像你講的即時的通知會加上
I have just approved...a few minutes ago.
便像在跟對方講電話交代的寫法

無問題。

不過如果可以既話,用Prsent Perfect Tense會好D

例如:"Mary, I have approved your application already. "
OR "Mary, I have just approved your application. "

The perfect tenses of a verb are the ones used to talk about things that happened or began before a particular time, as in I have already approved your application(5:06-5:08) at 5:08 already.
The present perfect tense is sometimes called the perfect tense;esp.(5:08-5:06=0:02 sec.)

I have just approved a few minutes(=2 minutes) ago.
