For your convenience this link is an overview of the recent changes to the NEWEST email page

On occasion, after placing the check marks in the box to the left of the email and/or clicking on the
trash can to the far right of the email the email(s) do not delete. I have found that clicking on the F5
key to refresh the page allows the emails to be deleted after placing the check marks back in the boxes
to the left of the emails or clicking on the trash can.

Since early June ALL of the emails are on one page....To delete emails at this
time just place a check mark in the box to the left of SORT BY DATE(New Format) or the empty box at the top left above the inbox (Newest format)which then places a check mark in ALL of the boxes to the left of your emails. If you want to save some you will have to scroll down thru your emails and remove the check mark to the left of the one you want to save...You can remove the check mark by clicking on it...
NOTE; In the NEWEST format clicking on the arrow just to the right of the
empty box will display other options
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
I have now seen where placing a check mark in the box left of SORT BY DATE or the empty box above the list of emails in the Newest format
does not always place a check mark in the boxes to the left of ALL emails...
occasionally it does, but sometimes it is 25 and sometimes 50 emails..
Sometimes it makes a difference on where you are in the long list of
emails....sometimes you have to scroll to the end of your email list before
placing a check mark left of SORT BY DATE to place a check mark left of
all emails....you will have to experiment.

Click the box next to the first message you want to delete. Hold down the
Shift key and click the box next to the last message you want to delete.
All messages in between will be highlighted and can be deleted at once.
If you want to save any of the emails scroll down and remove the check
mark by clicking on it.

You have the option of clicking on the TRASH can just to right of the date
for a particular email when your inbox is displayed
The only other option is to individually click on the box to the left of each
email you want to delete. For both options, except for the TRASH can.....
when done, is to go above and click on DELETE.

This link explains the new method....

Much of this link is explained above and below.

If you want to delete only emails from a particular sender....do this
Enter the senders name in your SEARCH MAIL box on your email page
OR hover your pointer over the email address or the name associated
with it and click on what looks like an hour glass...This will bring up
all the messages from this person. Click on the box left of SORT BY
DATE to place a check mark to the left of ALL emails. If you want to
save some you will have to scroll down and click on the check mark
o remove it. When done click on DELETE at the top...The location will
change to TRASH....go to you trash folder and empty it...They will be gone...
At the bottom of the each email...before it is opened...you will notice
what folder it is now located in...INBOX, SENT, etc...when you delete
the message the folder will change to TRASH...if it is not already there.
They will be finally deleted when you empty your trash folder.
The only other option is to click on the TRASH can on the right side
of the email and do it one at a time. Again, when done, you will have
to empty your Trash folder to permanently remove them.
