Why am I having dreams involving my best friend?

It's simple. Your have dreams about him because he is an attractive guy, gay or straight. Haven't you ever had a crush on a gay guy in the movies before?...Maybe even playing a straight role? I sure have! Love is love, and it knows no boundaries that society has put on it. If you are attracted to him that's normal. It doesn't mean you are gay. From your name I'm assuming you are a woman, right? What do you think is supposed to happen? Your brain "should" draw a line between you and him and say, now this one is "UNATTRACTIVE! YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO THINK/DREAM OF HIM IN THAT WAY. HE IS A GAY GUY!" ~

I don't think so! The human body or brain doesn't act that way, but the conditioned mind does! And that is the part of you that is troubling you. Once you have these feelings it is so very easy to translate them into your dreamworld, as that is what dreams are for, to go over your feelings during the days events, and to make up stories about what has actually happened to you...But it brings up things you have not wished to think about during your waking Life. So you have been bothered by your feelings about this gay friend, and finally it shows you in your dreams....I would suggest you just accept him as he is, and your dreams as they are....Good luck to you!

Being gay in dreams mean you want someone similar to yourself. Your desires are being played out and you are confused of how you feel.

No it's not strange. Desire takes form in dreams. There is nothing wrong with it and it will pass when your desire realises it's not what you really want
