Which type of RAM you can installed in the system is depends on the Motherboard not on CPU.

For answer of your question check the manual comes with your system or on the website of your other motherboard manufacturer or if it is branded system then check there own website or consult with them.

It depends on motherboard not the Processor.

That depends on the motherboard that you use. Some socket 775 motherboards can use DDR3 memory and some only use DDR2 memory.

Well it depends on the Motherboard not on the Processor. However your Processor support LGA 775 Motherboards. Some Motherboards support DDR3 RAM with LGA 775. See the below link for Information on your Processor

Please mention your Motherboard

OR

You can Download a Software called "CPUID CPU-Z" that tells all the Information of your computer. That won't be necessary to ask. The actual question you should ask is, 'which motherboard is compatible with pentiu....' OR 'which motherboard supports ddr3'

Well, my point is, it depends on which motherboard you are going to use. Most modern CPUs are compatible with motherboards that use ddr3 system. Like sandy bridge using lga 1155 socket.

Asus ROG(republic of gamers) series and gigabyte motherboards are recommended. Good luck choosing your motherboard ;)
