Studying Law

Do some research before asking.

1. U.K. and Hong Kong has the same legal system - common law. As a fact, most Hong Kong laws are coming from the U.K. due to U.K. colonial influence.

2. You will have to become a solicitor or barrister in order to work.

3. In working in the U.K., you must have a sponsorship by your employer and an approval from UKBA (a visa).

1) If I want to study law in university in UK, can I go back and work in HK?

>> 可以的, 冇問題, 但係唔係話你一讀完就可以番去hk 做野的, 當你大學grad 左之後, 你就要番hk讀番個pcll (即係一個conversion 試, 一年的, hku 有得讀)之後先可以出黎搵firm 去實習既. 我身邊有好多朋友, 都係係英國讀完law, 之後番hku讀一年既pcll, 好多都已經去左實習了, 所以冇話係英國讀完唔可以番hk 做野的.
