As you said, your English is not so bad, so I reply this in English and I trust that you would be able to understand this without a problem if what you said is true.
With due respect, I dont think learning another language especially Korean lauguage will privode you any advantage in your future career. If your English is not so bad, why not pursuing it further as English is more useful than Korean in HK. There will be more English/Chinese translator/interpreter opportunities in HK job market.
I suppose that you have passed your DSE but having obtained those results at that level is not competitive in HK. You should at least get something more eg a Bachelor degree to enhance your competitiveness among the other employees. So, dont waste money in studying Korean, use it in your degree study and you will find it more fruitful.
As to your questions:
No. The thing that they will look at is your actual ability to speak Korean, not the TOPIK result or whether you have studied in Korea.
If it is a Korean company, a Korean or a staff who speak fluent Korean will chat with you in Korea. If your Korean language is no good, you will lose you opportunity even though you have good academic record/degree.
yes, better to study a degree program, that will help you more.
1 year is not much in your say 60 years life span + you are young.
