a software that automaticly trys out passwords?

i have a file and i have a password for it, the password it not actually long but i forgot it; all characters would appear in my keyboard (or else how would i have setted it?) i mean 36! = 3.71X10^41 but a computer can do that much more quicker that i type it; so a software that does that? there is no limit for how many times i type it

You're talking about brute force hacking and yes there are programs that can just keep trying random combinations until they get the right password. As I recall they are known as cracking programs and unless you're a Certified Ethical Hacker, the only way to get one is to go onto a website catering to hackers and pray someone doesn't hack your system or load a virus just for the hell of it while you're downloading the program.
