Two cars A and B 250 km apart are traveling towards each other on the same road.The traveling speed of car B is 5 km/h more than 5/7 of the speed of car A. They will meet after 2 hours. Find the traveling speed of each car.

Let x km be the distance of car A Let y km/h be the speed of car A
speed of car A = x/2 hr
speed of car B = 5+((5/7)speed of A)
so,
5+((5/7)speed of A) = (250-x)/2
5+((5/7)speed of A) = 2(speed of A)/2hr
5+(5y/7) = (250/2)y
y = 70
ans: speed of car A is 70km/h
