If g(x) is continuous, then lim (x-> -1 -) g(x) = lim (x-> -1 +) g(x)

lim (x-> -1 -) ax + b = lim (x-> -1 +) ax^3 + x + 2b

b - a = 2b - a - 1

b = 1

I thick that there is no restriction on the value of a
