In MnO4-(aq) + 8H+(aq) + 5e- to form Mn2+(aq) + 4H2O(l)
why this reduction having H+?

In neutral or alkaline medium, MnO₄⁻ would reduce to MnO₂。

In acidic medium, MnO₄⁻ would reduce to Mn²⁺。

The medium is controlled by us.

Actually, we purposely add H₂SO₄ to make it acidic.

The H⁺ comes from H₂SO₄。
