Your work begins when you clock in. Perhaps, when you failed to show up for two hours, she replaced you and that is why she made you wait until 8 p.m., when the other person was scheduled to leave. It sounds like there was a misunderstanding as to what time you would arrive to work. It probably happened through your panic at chipping your tooth and maybe you weren't sure what time you would be there, so she had no choice but to replace you. Sometimes, you just have to let mistakes go. If it happens regularly, change jobs but, for this time, just let it go. Your pay will begin at 8 p.m., when you started work. That is reasonable under the circumstances.
