✔ 最佳答案
Consider f(x)=(x+1)(x-2) and g(x)=6-2x,Find the values of x such that
f(x-1)=g(x)
Sol
f(x-1)=x(x-3)
x(x-3)=6-2x
x^2-3x=6-2x
x^2-x-6=0
(x-3)(x+2)=0
x=3or x=-2

f(x-1)= g(x)

[(x+1)-1] [(x-2)-1] = 6-2x

(x+1-1)(x-2+1) = 6-2x

x(x-3)= 6-2x

x^2-x-6 =0

x=3 or -2
