English question, please help?

"I am anxious to see you."

Does it really mean the person is anxious and want to see someone?
Or does it just mean a person wants to see someone very much.

Yes, the second choice. They're looking forward to seeing him. However! If the person said, "Joe is coming and I'm anxious." Then that very likely means that the person speaking is nervous about seeing Joe, either because the person really likes Joe, or really hates Joe.

To further confuse you, you could also say, "I am just itching to see you".. It means the same thing sort of. English is a vast and confusing language - we have twice as many words as other languages.
