If f(x) is a continuous function, then as lim x-> -1 - f(x) = lim x> -1 + f(x)and lim x-> 1 - f(x) = lim x> 1 + f(x)
We automatically know lim x-> -1 f(x) = 1 and lim x-> 1 f(x) = 1
