股票買賣手續如何

for transfer of share (directly from your brother to you):

1. write your name in the transferee column at the back of the share certificate and sign on the appropriate space.

2. your brother will have to sign on the transferor column and sign at the appropriate box/ space.

3. bring the signed share certificate to the IRD office (tax office, see address below) for payment of stamp duty.

4. bring the share certificate with stamp duty payment receipt to the share registry (Computershare, see address and contact below)

5. pay for the share certificate fees and new share certificate will be issued in your name. The share registry will contact you once they are ready.

6. bring the new share certificates in your name to your stock broker if you want to sell them.

1. 香港證券的轉讓
由2001年9月1日起，售賣或購買任何香港證券須課繳印花稅，收費按代價款額或價值計算如下：

無償產權處置轉讓書
$5另加轉讓證券價值的0.2%
(如所計得的印花稅包括不足$1之數，該不足之數須當作$1計算。)

yes. you must find a witness and have that box filled before going to the IRD. Otherwise, they won't process your transfer.
