Just bring your passport (in case some of the banks do not accept Macau ID card as a proof of identity) and a proof of address, ie. any of the utility bills or bank statement sending to you address in Macau will do.

Do note that you may not be able to open a CNY (Chinese Yuen/ RMB) account as you are not a HK resident. Instead, you may be able to open a CNH (Chinese Yuen offshore) account. The main difference is in the exchange rate and CNH is not subjected to the daily RMB conversion limit.

外地人只要持有有效的身份證明文件及住址證明，都可以合法在香港的銀行開戶；
