Why do poor Republicans claim they are being held back by high taxes?

And then complain that the poor aren't pay enough taxes

(psst, many are among the 47% that don't pay a federal income tax)

"I'm 100% sure that there is no human being on this planet who complains that he doesn't pay enough taxes. " Warren Buffet, for one. But more to my point - every person in the Republican Party begging for a flat tax, when they pay less than 15% in taxes because their income is so low. They are complaining that they do not pay enough in taxes.

Because when the government takes money from companies they tend to cut back on hiring. NY state has high taxes and the upstate economy has 30% poverty in every major city. Where exactly are all those jobs which Liberals promised? There certainly are a great number of people who live stricktly off the government and they always vote Democrat. 5-1 in this state.

Oh, wait...the Democrats give it to huge corporations in order to "create jobs." Interstesting how they paid my competitor $300,000,000 (4th largest company in the US because they need the cash), and they pay LOWER wages than my company, so tell me exactly how the Democrats are helping increase wages? They take business from me. They create nothing. It shifts. Morons.

I'm 100% sure that there is no human being on this planet who complains that he doesn't pay enough taxes.

You're dumb.

You're wrong about Warren Buffet, showing once again how dumb you are. If he really believed that people like him should pay more taxes, he would advocate a net worth tax, not higher taxes on incomes.

You show again how dumb you are when you claim that every person in the Republican Party is begging for a flat tax. That's absurd on it's face. Even if it were true, you would have no way of knowing it.

High taxes are a drag on the economy - as tax rates increase, economic activity decreases. Studies by economists, including Christine Romer, indicate that for every dollar removed from the economy by taxes, the effect on the economy is a loss of more than one dollar.

When money remains in the economy, even as savings, it creates economic activity; activity which can and does include business expansion and job creation.

No government in the history of mankind has ever taxed or spent its way out of a recession, and it won't happen no matter how many times it is repeated. Government doesn't create jobs; the more it taxes and spends, the more it impedes job creation. This is basic economics.

Really poor people who vote republican do it because republicans claim to be the party of God and because republicans talk down to them in way that makes them proud to be stupid and angry at every non-white face. I don't think these people are even paying attention to how much money they are losing by doing this.

I'm a Republican in the middle class and I pay WAY too much in taxes. The 47% need to chip in.
