Noun Clause, Adverb Clause, Adjective Clause

A clause contains a subject and a predicate. If a clause can stand alone as a sentence, it is an independent sentence, If a clause cannot stand on its own, it is a dependent clause.
Noun clause, adverb clause and adjective clause are all dependent clauses.

A noun clause is a clause that takes the place of a noun in another clause or phrase.
For example:
noun
I am writing the answer.
noun clause
I am writing what a noun clause is.

An adverb clause is a clause that takes the place of an adverb in another clause or phrase.
For example:
adverb
I am writing the answer now.
adverb clause
I am writing the answer as I watch the TV.

An adjective clause is a clause that takes the place of an adjective in another clause or phrase
For example:
adjective
the difficult answer
the answer that I am writing

Clause (grammar) is a group of words that contains a subject and a verb, but which is usually only part of a sentence; When compare a phrase,it is part of a sentence.Hence subject and verb are self-explanatory in the fact (subject+ verb.):-
NounClause:eg:--I'll try to make your sick body happy( in the wearing of a green hat.)
.eg:-The kitchen( that is fully furnished), is next to us.
Adverb clause:-eg:-(Naturally equipped with money to be spent,) we want you to come to Mid-Autumn-Festival.
Adjective Clause:-eg:-The teacher,( who is good at football), arrived.
eg:-The kitchen, (adjoining the sitting and dining room,) are two rooms.
