I don't know what to do anymore. I've had 20 interviews and no offers. I do my research, dress nice, and answer to the best of my abilities. the job market has gotten better and I have the skills for the jobs I've interviewed for. I even called a past employer to find out if he's giving me bad references. I want to kill myself. I think about it a lot. I don't know what to do anymore. why stay positive when no one will give you a chance? why live when those less qualified get the job? I don't mind starting at the bottom, I always have. I feel like a failure. I cry a lot and wonder why my prayers go unanswered.

I agree. It is a bit difficult.

Put some extra special effort. And start such endeavors in an auspicious time so that everything ends in total success. Practice. Practice only makes a man perfect.

Practice means repeated or continuous effort to follow the discipline and order, which gives permanent control for the mind and its thought waves. This is well done through exercises of our will power and reasoning power. When we talk of effort, it means that we should put proper, adequate, concerted, sustained and unlimited effort for channelizing and giving right direction to the mind. This practice becomes firmly grounded when it has been cultivated through our behavior and habit for a long time, uninterruptedly with earnest devotion.

Practice cannot become perfect unless we have clarity of understanding. Clarity of understanding comes when we put all our life's efforts towards experimenting with TRUTH.

Because I had this problem for 5 years and then I got the job of my dreams.

The extent of the interview was 2 questions:

Are you going back to school?
Do you want a job?

And it was the day after my birthday.

You know when people say work at a job you love and you won't work a day in your life? It's been 11 months and I feel like in these 11 months I haven't worked a day.

Don't think about killing yourself. Not being able to find a job can be depressing, trust me I know, but when you find one (and you will) you will be so grateful and so much more happy than if you didn't have to struggle to get one. Don't feel too down, it took me 3 years of job searching to find a job and when I got one I was so grateful I did my best work.
Keep praying and God will answer you, he knows what's best. Maybe you have not applied to your true Dream Job as yet.
I will pray for you.
