Genital herpes breakout are less over years?

my exboyfriend gave herpes 4 years ago but i dont get breakouts until my doctor confirmed a month ago i get really worry and stress about this i guess cuz i never took it serious cuz i never got check up till now a month ago and my sores dont heel i get one and onother breakout why before dont feel nothing and now that i comfirmed i cant stop breaking out is really for stress idk how stop thinking about my herpes now too painfull help :(

Herpes symptoms and break outs can be different for every one that contracts it. Some people only have a few break outs at first then never have another. For some people their break outs get less sever over time.If it is herpes you may want to think about going on some antiviral medication (you can get it with a prescription from your doctor), it can help suppress and heal break outs.

It is difficult to say. Most important is, when there is an outbreak, you have to treat it symptomatically.
