You can write anything you want, but your example doesn't make much sense.
You can write "In the years beginning [1492 through 1555]" and that gives you a time period to discuss something happening....
Or you can write "in the year 1492...." for one specific year that something started. And then you can go on in the next sentence to discuss things that happened in later years than 1492...

"At the start of the year" for this year.

"In the years beginning (for example) 1919 there was great joy because the war had ended."

But definitely not "in the year begin" - that is simply not standard English.

So what is it that you actually want to say?

No. It's either "in the year that begins XXXX" or "in the year beginning XXXX"
