If the height and the volume of a prism are 4 cm and 180cm^3 respectively, find the base of the prism.

Prism is a three dimensional object which has a uniform cross sectional area.
The volume of a prism = Area of the base × height V = A × h

A = V ÷ hWhere A is the area of the base and h is the height of the prism.If the height and the volume of a prism are 4 cm and 180cm^3 respectively,
V=180cm^3
h=4cm
A=V÷h=180cm^3÷4cm=45cm^2
Area of the base is 45cm^3.
