My mom went thru my phone?

I left my phone at the house while I was at school and I didn't have a password (big mistake) and when I came back she was asking me stuff from my pictures, NOTHING BAD but damn I was so p*ssed. I mean respect my privacy and now shes mad at ME?! For what! I dont ******* understand her, I got nothing to hide but still nobody likes it when someone goes thru their phone am I right?!

I would agree that it doesn't feel good knowing someone went through your phone. You should calmly tell your mom that while you have nothing to hide from her, you would like to have your privacy and would prefer that she doesn't look through your phone again in the future. Then, put a passcode on it! :) Just stay calm, I'm sure she didn't mean any harm, and is just looking out for your best interest. :)

Every parent have this problem. How old are you BTW. Your parents are worried about you so they look at your phone. If this problem continues try talking with them about giving you privacy and set a password on your phone!

yes it is annoying but non the less depending on your age and the way the phone is paid for she has the right and even if you put a code in it I know I would be able to get passed your code and if you did lock it up so i could not do it i would simply take it away until you gave me the code so i could get into it and find out what was on the thing so long and short of it is that is part of being a teen

Nope. I don't think anyone likes it. But it happens. Parents snoop. And it's super annoying.
My mom has snooped through my things since i was 12 (so 6 years). The only things to come from it are massive fights and me learning to hide things better.
My personal rule is if i'm thinking about putting a password on my phone/computer or hiding something, do it. Every time i ignore the feeling i end up getting in trouble because my mom snooped.

I can't take you seriously unless you spell 'though' right. And she's just worried about you, probably. Really, if it's nothing bad then you shouldn't be complaining. My parents go through my phone all the time and I don't care.

If she pays for the phone and monthly contract, it's not your phone, it's hers. Personally, even as an adult if someone else were to provide a phone and connection for me, I wouldn't mind if they went through it. It is theirs, after all.

Yeah I remember when my sister went through my pics and I had some pics of my gf at the time fully naked and she almost saw them so I took it. Hate that sh*t
