i accidentally formatted an sd card in my camera( not a low level format) and i want my pictures back, i've heard of something called ghost images and i wonder can i save those pictures. if yes, please suggest a programe that could do that

Try recurva. You may not get all the pictures back but you should get most of them.

Ghost Images or Ghost is a program by symantec corp which will make a copy of a hard drive and copy (ghost) it to a new drive. Ghosting is basically cloning.
And no, using ghost is not going to restore your pictures.
You can look for a partition recovery tool or you can go to a company like DriveSavers to recover data.
