I like to discuss a small (trivial) matter with you. It only takes five minutes.

口頭:

Your version:
口頭
1. Free, now? 回答只有 Yes, No or Yes, just ... (a few minutes .. etc)
如果第一句問, Any time now?, 可以答 little. (~ refers to time)
3. Just show you some , a moment ~ 錯
Just show you something
前面無言及某物某事, Some 指什麼?
單獨 "a moment" , 正常地解 “等片刻”
4. Ok , go and get . 不通, get what?
相信是 go and get (it), ~ it refers to something
避免誤解 "分處", 所以用 discuss 比較安全
What is "分處" ?
分處 = deal with (處理) ?
小事情 = small matter
show you something = 給你睇某物, 向你表明某事
如果 "分處" = 處理, 你的第三句英文翻譯, 完全不同中文原意
Conversational English 雖然簡單為主, 但交代要清楚, 否則聽者不明白或誤解
What’s the matter? 好過 what about? what about 好過 what?
Kill time = 打發時間, 消磨時間
trivial matter = 瑣細的事, small matter = 小的事
