「離譜」用英語應該怎說？

英語人口語常講

ridiculous

正規字典會告訴你這個字解做「可笑/滑稽」，但實際英語人係會常用作離譜這意思的。

當然離譜還有一兩個正規的字/phrase
you're way off.
you've stepped over the line.
outrageous
absurd
preposterous
都是較為嚴重的指控
所以要小心用

另外英國人會喜歡用
you're full of nonsense
這個字指出別人做事不合理或胡說八道

英語中的 offbeat
與廣東話的『離譜』很相似，
因為它不單可描述音樂不合拍(走音)，也同時可形容行為不依規範(出位)。

我也認為ridiculous(可笑，荒唐，荒谬，或愚蠢)最近「離譜」的說法。
Godfrey的absolutely/utterly ridiculous!就是"離晒大譜！"

(1) nonsense with music:-

「離譜」用英語有三種說法：

1.excessive

2.beyond reasonable limits

3.irregular

「離譜」比較口語的英語說法應該是：
(You are)...
way off base /
far off the beam /
outrageous /
exaggerated
