Dogs and antibiotics ?

hi i gave my dog her antibiotics 9 o'clock this morning for her toe infection they are cephalexin 500mg tablets when should i give her the next tablet the vet said to give her one twice a day ?

24 hours in a day, divided by 2 (doses) equals giving the dog the pill every 12 hours or again at 9 PM.

I'd suggest normally morning and evening - especially if this has to be given with food. Give it with breakfast, and his last meal of the day. But by all means check with your vet.

Twice a day means every 12 hours. SO you should give the next dose at 9pm.
