(y + 1)/(x - 3) = -6/7
6(x - 3) = -7(y + 1)
6x - 18 = -7y - 7
6x + 7y = 11 ...... [1]
Put y = 0 (x-axis) into [1] :
6x = 11
x = 11/6
Hence, the coordinates of R = (11/6, 0)
Put x = 0 (y-axis) into [1] :
7y = 11
y = 11/7
Hence, the coordinates of S = (0, 11/7)
