Anxiety problems? Or heart?

I have a really bad habit of worrying about everything. Even the little things. I have chest palpitations, chest tightness, and chest pains. I also get dizzy, and have the shakes. I thought it was indigestion. But could it be anxiety problems or heart problems?? Im freaking out about it!

I like Darlene's answer but I can top one ontop. I've gotten over anxiety. It's true what she says in regards to stacks. Imagine your emotions like lego, you can stack a pair of red bricks (positive emotions) or a stack of blue bricks (negative emotions). When you begin to stack red and warm colors you will begin to feel better, but if you go down the road of blue - you will pick cold colors and feel bad. Moral of the story is that you have to think positively... but... there is thought beyond that which is even better. Instead of thinking, have you tried not thinking and practicing the art of "no thought", and just seeing how that felt if you could hold it for a minute or two?

There is an excellent guy on youtube, its hard to take him seriously at first because most of us are conditioned to see and understand things a certain way, but look up Eckhart Tolle. Most of his stuff is free, you can just go there watch it, think about it and try it, see how you go.

It's anxiety. The best book I've ever read/recommend to clients is, "Overcoming Anxiety, Worry, and Fear” by Gregory L. Jantz, PhD"
Anxiety is caused by a negative cycle of thoughts. Once your brain starts down a negative road, it's really hard to control. What you have to do is stop it in it's tracks. Literally. Because it really is all in your head....not your heart.
I recommend that you refocus to something in the present...not the future or the past where negative thoughts like to live. For instance, what do you smell RIGHT NOW. what do you see RIGHT NOW, what do you taste RIGHT NOW....use your 5 senses to stop the freight train of negative thoughts. It does work and it will help.
