You are quoting Psalm 110:1, which in the KJV reads: "The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool."

That is one of the problems with removing God's personal Name from the Scriptures. Note that the first "LORD" is all uppercase. Any time you see that, it should read (in English) Jehovah, as in this modern English accurate translation:

“The utterance of Jehovah to my Lord is: 'Sit at my right hand Until I place your enemies as a stool for your feet.'” (Psalm 110:1, NWT)

Jehovah is the English rendering of the Hebrew יהוה, or YHWH. (Yahweh or Yehowah)

Most Bibles have removed that Name replacing it with LORD in all uppercase letters.

The KJV retains the proper Name of God 4 times, in Exodus 6:3; Psalm 83:18; Isaiah 12:2; & Isaiah 26:4.

In the verse in question, the are 2 Lords, Jehovah and Jesus.

Go back and re-read the text VERY carefully.

You'll note that the first "Lord" is actually "LORD", which is the shortened version used instead of "Jehovah".

American Standard makes this clear:
"Jehovah saith unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, Until I make thine enemies thy footstool."

The World English Bible uses "Yahweh" instead of "Jehovah", but referring to the same.

There is but ONE Jehovah. There are many lords, but only one GOD.

Hope that helps.

WRONG ......... HE SAID THAT : " THE LORD SAID TO MY Lord : SIT THOU ON MY RIGHT UNTIL I MAKE THINE ENEMIES THINE FOOTSTOOL ."

it is quoted in Hebrews to show the superiority of Jesus over the angels

in Jewish thinking the older is greater then the younger so Abraham is greater then David is greater then Jesus (who was born later). but Jesus tells us before Abraham was Jesus was making Jesus older then Abraham and thus greater.

so you question of how many lords are there is a wrong question. your missing the point of these passages and how they are explained in the NT.
Jesus is Lord of lords and King of kings. 'nuff said!!
