Is it normal to day dream all day?

Just wondering, how much do you day dream a day? Just stare off in to space, thinking about things that could possibly happen but most likely won't. I've been spending most of my time being anti-social and cay dreaming now-a-days. I've basically depressed myself by realizing that there is no point in life.

I can easily get lost in my mind for hours, even days. Its an amazing thing to be able to escape reality in this way by just using your imagination. But when you're alone with your thoughts too much it can be dangerous; it can prevent you from living and moving forward with your life because the more you dwell the more impossible achieving these dreams start to seem. I would say the first thing you should start to do is go out and take part in something fun even if it's just for a few hours a day- something relaxing. It's the little things that make life worthwhile. Maybe write out a list of your biggest dreams/goals and the little, day-by-day steps it'll take to get closer to achieving that dream. Going outside and enjoying the real world is the first step! And just take everything slowly, you'll be fine. And never give up on day dreaming either :)

day dream is nice, makes you feel better, just don't overdo it.
