How can I use my ASUS notebook as wi-fi hotspot?

Dear friends,
I am unable to use my ASUS EeePc 1015PX notebook as wireless hotspot, so that my Samsung Galaxy S Duos (GT-S7562) smartphone can access internet from it through wifi. My notebook has Broadcom 802.11n Network Adapter, Windows XP SP3 and Dot Net Framework v 4, and broadband internet. I have tried virtual router software like WiFi Hotspot Creator, but that didn't help me at all.
A detailed suggestion will be highly appreciated.
Thanks.
更新1:

Dear Dnice, Thanks for your suggestion. But VirtuaRouterPlus is not working for me in Windows XP. When I'm trying to install, there comes the error message "VirtualRouterPlus has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." I think the program supports Windows 7 onwards.

更新2:

Dear David, As per your advice I downloaded and installed Connectify me (XP compatible version 3.71). Things seemed to be okay at first, but I am stuck at connecting my smartphone to my Hotspot. (Connectify-HOME "not in range"). Settings are as follows: Hotspot Name - Connectify-HOME Internet to Share: Atheros AR8152/8158 PCI-E Fast Ethernet Share Over: Wi-Fi Sharing Mode: Wi-Fi Ad-Hoc, OOpen Please help. Thanks.

If you got right software to do that yes of course, trouble is, that kind of software often implies Linux.
