This is a really sad song about a Transgender Girl facing discrimination and being forced to live as a boy. And this guy that likes her despite her being trans and stops her from committing suicide... :(
Although this is an indie artist, but still it's really beautiful and sad!

Breathe Me, via Sia is thoroughly unhappy, even nevertheless no longer acoustic. skinny Love, via Bon Ivor is acoustic, even though it is not particularly depressing, in user-friendly terms somewhat of unhappy with a melancholy melody.
