Burlington, MA?????? help?

There is public transportation from Burlington to Boston. For weekdays, ride the MBTA 352 Bus Burlington Express which stops in Burlington then becomes an express bus until it reaches Alewife, the last stop on the Red Line. For weekends, ride the 350 Bus which basically goes the same route of 352 but makes more stops. No weekend service for the 352. Plus, South Station is on the Red Line.

Right next door is Woburn that has a commuter rail station and easy access to Boston. Also if you ever need to go to the airport there is a Logan Express bus station in Woburn that will bring you right to the airport (you can park your car and take the bus).

You could also drive to Wellington Station in Medford and park and take the subway in.

And if you don't want to use your car at all there is a bus that goes at least to the mall - not sure its route through Burlington - that goes to Alewife (red line T station) - which will take you directly to south station.

The MBTA busses and commuter rail all go to Burlington but they do not run as frequently as they would in Somerville or Cambridge. Your best bet is to live in one of those two cities. I actually grew up in Somerville and it is nice here. I live right around the corner to about 15 different bus stops and there is easy access to the T. I can walk to the nearest train station within 15min which is not bad at all.
