一般傳統教會都是引用和合本聖經,而且他們的聖經多數要用錢買的,而耶和華見證人他們的所用的聖經是新世界譯本,而新世界譯本是免費的,可以向耶和華見證人免費獲取,但是新世界譯本卻被傳統教會指更改原文意思,但實際上新世界譯本與和合本意思並無出入,而且新世界譯本更能令人容易明白聖經的真正內容,所用字句為白話文,但有關的經文的意思能有效傳達,因此新世界譯本更能令人容易明白聖經的真正內容,所以有關指空屬無的放矢。

注意：

1. 大多數抄本都作「五萬零七十人」，少數抄本作「七十人」。
2. 英文 KJV 譯本中，threescore 即 60，fifty thousand and threescore and ten 即 50,070。
3. 根據聖經的血腥及暴力程度，七十人只是區區之數，似乎與「大大擊殺」 great slaughter 這個措詞顯得格格不入。
4. 和合本聖經在譯文中擅自加上一個「擅」字，即「觀看」譯成「擅觀」，似為耶和華脫罪把責任推在伯示麥人上。「擅」英文是 unauthorized，英文聖經不見有這個意思。和修本聖經亦修正了這個「錯誤」翻譯。

還有，中文和合本聖經翻譯失實，隱瞞耶和華是騙子，誤導公眾。
