I suppose such people are 'living in a future world' where all their dreams come true.
'Good things' can happen at any time in a person's life ... if they *allow* them to happen in the present, rather than be dreaming in the future.
I've never heard anyone say the phrase 'Good things come last.'
At the end of a human life, we call that death. Is that 'good'?
I think 'death' is more of a transition, not an end. There is no end. "When you come in, you're in for good", as the musician David Gilmour once wrote and sang in a song.
'Good things' are available to everyone at any time ... it's just how the silent universe works. Yet one has to *allow* the 'good things' to 'appear'. Otherwise the world seems like a 'cold and harsh place', as one of my former neighbors once said ... and that's exactly what he gets because he thinks that way. Interesting how that works. ;)
