lot of samples coming from 'blues' genre (vocals, stratocaster guitar, harmonica, bass). Nice licks. Interesting lyrics. Straight 4/4 drumbeat (kick on 1and3, snare on 2and4) with variation, good sequencing, individual sample tracks in sequence sections work well together rhytmically to create pockets. Refreshing against the full-on futurist robo synth sounds that is the modern fad...yawn. Proud people folk music, not sophisticated elite club music. Piece of americana.
