How long does herpes take to heal?

I have had an outbreak on the head of my penis for the last 2 weeks and it still won't go away, I can't be sexually active with this sh*t on my sh*t!!!! What should I do, I'm planning on getting with somebody in the next two weeks. Help!!

Depending on how sever the break out is, herpes can take any where from 2-4 weeks to completely heal and go away.See a doctor and get some antiviral medication to help heal it.

Herpes outbreaks can take 2-4 weeks to clear up. But keep in mind, it never totally goes away. You can still give it to someone even if you aren't having any visible symptoms. You still need to tell your partner.

first of all...this person you're getting with in the next two weeks better know about your herpes.
if not...karma will get you. you're not suppose to knowingly put someone at risk for getting it.
you need to go to the doctor and get anti virals.
