It also prompts me to think about the impact of GM food in our daily lives. For example, as GM food would not rot in air as easily as conventional food, it could somehow reduce food waste. This could be one reason why many supermarkets sell many different kinds of GM food such as vegetables now.
After reading this news report, I am interested in GM food and would like to find out more about it. Discussing with my friends who are familiar with GM food technology might be a good way to do so.
