This artice's tense had used correctly.

1）There was a (conference table) and some documents on the table.
or : There was a conference table, and there are some documents on the table. *****記住第2句要有 comma ，第一句5洗
你原本個句有d double左

2）點解你有firstly但係無 secondly ,finally etc？
如果你後面還有就沒問題，但是如果沒有就可以不用加

3）你可以寫：
I visited the Civil Engineering and Development Department, which is managed by Development Bureau, yesterday at 9:30pm.
or
Yesterday night/Yesterday at 9:30pm, I visited the Civil Engineering and Development Department, which is managed by Development Bureau.
就5洗好似一句一句甘分開

4）Divisions 係咪用錯做？你想describe什麽？因爲你後面接著是meeting room
如果division我覺得是describe緊 部門(for example, HR department, IT department)，但係你後面describe 緊d 房間

5）There are different divisions (inside).

Tenses 都是正確的：以過去式描述「你昨天的參觀」，並用現在式表示第二句是「事實」。

記得好像是你，之前問：很多東西都是事實，如 There were different divisions，為甚麼用過去式而不用現在式？

其實這真的是沒有絕對正確的答案，要看你的用意，如果你意在「描述當時的景象」，即使是事實，一般也會用過去式；但若你意在「說明一個到現在爲止也是正確的事情」，則一般會用現在式。

另外，There were a table for discussions 應該是 There was a table for discussions，你是在指 a table，是單數的。
