No you don't. Are you talking about getting an Eye Examination for Contacts? Well It's either you let your Insurance Pay for your Exam or you Pay for your Exam from Pocket Money or Wallet Money. Contacts, you buy them from Different stores and you definitely don't need insurance. You give them your Prescription that your Doctor gave you from the Examination and then you pay for the Contacts. The next time you go to the store you bought the Contacts from, you only need to pay for the Box of Contacts because they already know your Prescription. It's that Simple.
If you're getting Contacts, get contacts from Cost Co because it's Cheap.

Your mother obviously doesn't want you to get them so she cooked that one up. You can pay out of pocket if you want you just need a valid prescription for contacts.

no. i don't need eye insurance to wear them. i don't even do sports but i'm blind,so, yeah....
