In dual gpu, there are many programming concepts applied, because since you have 2 processors then there are two possibilities at least, one is each processor handles one independent task, the other is, both processor handle the task but they divide that task between the two.
This is, is like in my program I tell to one processor you draw the cube, and to other I say you draw the sphere, so this means the programming language used must have that ability to distribute the tasks
The other way my program does not takes care about which processor does the task, it doesn't even may know there are two processor, but the graphics card knows, so it decides how to distribute the task between the two processors so the task is ended faster.
