a) Consider the expression

ln(y) - ln(y-1) = ln (x^3 + 8)-2ln x

where x and y are real variables that defines on the range(x>0) and (y>1)

b) Use implicit differential to find dy/dx in term of x and y if

x^2y + y^3 = -x^2 + 3y,

and, hence determine the gradient of the tangent at the point (-1,1) to the curve represented by the above equation.
