Is it all about the money? Or giving value? Choosing best detailed answer?

um I think you should first focus on the material things, otherwise this world won't work.
It's about the exchange of products. because if you don't focus on these things, what else would you choose to focus on? it's a hard concept. you'll need a foundation first before you can move on to another. say you need to get an idea first before you can expect anything else. I would put 70% on material things and 30% on spiritual things. because if you spent too much time on spiritual things, it won't work, because you'll still need the material things to survive and to develop. Have a purpose of living is difficult because everyone has different standards of living - it's hard to describe or to let someone know what their meaning of life is. To have a purpose of living, you first have to understand the meaning of life first. The reason why your parents are focusing on the money because they don't understanding the meaning of life is. They just "switch on the engines" and have a go, so that's why there's no particular meaning of life for them, so no strong purpose for living.
I don't have a particular strong purpose of living, I simply live as other people do, and have fun during my spare time, that's all. although they will need to money and the products, they shouldn't put too much focus on it - that's bad. They need to create more meaning in their lives, like spend more time together and have some fun together. There's meaning in life, we just don't know it.

I believe in giving value because there's that moral saying where "There are things that you can't buy with money" and "There are things that money cannot replace." Value is really important as a human being. As a person, I think that they have chosen the wrong purpose in life, because it's not all about the materials, it's about the lives around you that you should really take notice of, and cherish them because they're not gonna be around for that long. We also put our values into certain materials too, so I wouldn't necessarily say they're wrong for thinking that way. Honestly, I think that people should care more about value than materials (things like phones, computers, etc).
