Book presentation
Mr. Willy Wonka, the eccentric owner of the greatest chocolate factory in the world, has decided to open the doors of his factory to five lucky children and their parents. In order to choose who will enter the factory, Mr. Wonka devises a plan to hide five golden tickets beneath the wrappers of his famous chocolate bars. The search for the five golden tickets is fast and furious. Four children, who is rich and proud, in which some of them used evil methods to get the tickets. Until Charlie Bucket, the unsuspecting hero of the book, defies all odds in claiming the fifth and final ticket. Charlie is a poor but virtuous boy, who lives in a tiny house with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bucket, and all four of his grandparents. Each child is allowed to take one parent to visit the chocolate factory, and Charlie has chosen grandpa Joe, who began his amazing trip with Charlie.
I think the most special character in this book is Grandpa Joe. He is the oldest and wisest of the characters in the novel. However, like Charlie and Mr. Wonka, he remains young at heart, and that is why he is Charlie’s best friend. His reaction to Charlie finding the golden ticket is even more excited than Charlie’s own reaction. Also, Grandpa Joe is also the only adult who seems to think that Mr. Wonka is a genius. The other fathers and mothers call him crazy. But Grandpa Joe is amazed at everything Mr. Wonka says and does. Grandpa Joe is finally different because he seems to genuinely care about Charlie. The other fathers only seem to care when something bad happens to their children.
This book is truly amazing and full of surprises, and I highly recommend you to read this book, thank you.
