I have already completed relevant courses in accountancy such as LCC&I level 2 and HKIAAT diploma. I also have good communication skills in Cantonese and English and good telephone manner.


I am employed as an accounts clerk with XXX Limited in May 2010. My job duties there include genearl accounting tasks such as AR, AP, filing, data entry etc. Now, I am still working with this company.


The reason why I want to leave my present and work for your company is I want to widen my work knowledge. I feel my skills and experience would be great assets for your company in this position.


I enclose my resume and a copy of my qualification documents for your reference. I shall be grateful I will be invited to attend an interview at any time convenient to you. Then, I would like to explain more about my experience, qualifications and abilities.

There are a few things to pay attention to when writing a cover letter:
1. Since it's a formal letter, do not use any abbreviations.
2. You must write the company information at the beginning, then your own address information.
3. Don't forget to address the person you are sending the letter to.
